I was sick on a friday, I called in sick for the morning PT portion of the day, but attended the rest of the day so I wouldn't lose so many hours.

The PT portion was an hour long. On monday I was questioned as to why I missed only the PT portion of the day. I have two areas of concern.

The first, how detrimental will this be when a department looks at my file? I still believe that my conduct did not warrant a demerit and I would hold that position when asked by a BI. I still feel that I was not dealt with fairly. I have not violated the rules and regulations that were given to us, and I followed the procedures to the letter.

Also, there is discrepency in that no other person in my academy has been punished in anyway for calling in sick, yet I received a demerit for lack of a "sufficient reason. I have never been late, perform well in scenario based training, have high academic and physical marks, and have basically given no indications that I am irresponsible or dishonest throughout my academy.
